NO LONGER AVAILABLE
ALL campus housing
reservations MUST be made and paid in advance through SMB because NYU
will not handle individual conference housing requests. Meeting
participants will be housed in the newly built (2009), air-conditioned
Founder’s Hall, a few blocks from Kimmel Center. Each suite has two
bedrooms and a bathroom shared by all occupants (two to four) of the
suite. Each bedroom may be used as single or double. Please see
description of the facilities at: http://www.nyu.edu/summer/housing/groups_short.htm. Information about Founder’s Hall is here.
Important Note: Housing space is limited
and reservations are for meeting participants only. Spouses/partners
and friends who are not registered for the Myogenesis meeting may not
live in Founder's Hall. Please contact Ida Chow (info@musclebiology.org) to register as companion. No one under 16 years of age is permitted to stay overnight in the residence hall.
Online housing reservation is based on 5-night stay and the total sum will be as follows:
- Double occupancy bedroom in a shared suite $51/night/person X 5 nights = $255
- Single occupancy bedroom in a shared suite $77/night/person X 5 nights = $385
Link to online Meeting/Housing Registration is here.
Participants not staying through the entire period (less than 5 nights),
or staying longer (more than 5 nights) must submit the completed paper
Registration/Housing form and FAX to (301) 634-7825 if payment is made
by credit card. Payments by check (payable to Society for Muscle
Biology) should be mailed to attention of Ida Chow, Society for Muscle
Biology, 9650 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20814-3998, U.S.A.
